One good sling

Are you having trouble finding the right sling.  Can’t figure out whether to go with a single point, two point or three-point.  From my 8 years in the military and deployments under my belt I have dealt with all three.  From my experience I have found that the one point sling is the best you can go with.  It’s just way to easy to maneuver from strong side to weak side.  The mobility of a single point sling is what makes it stand out from the obscene amount of slings out there.

On this blog I will be talking about one sling.  The Condor Cobra one point.  This thing is just straight KICK A$$.   The durability of this sling is on point.  I have had it on my military M4 for about three weeks now putting it through all sorts of rigorous training and its keeping up.  It features a 1.25″ webbing with Duraflex buckles. Also, a snap hook adapter covered with elastic and a side-release buckle to release adapter and sling.  The elastic inside is dual banded and is also very durable.  Trust me, I tried breaking it and couldn’t.  It also comes in 4 different colors(Multicam, Black, OD, and Tan).  This is the sling I am taking to Afghanistan with me.  I guarantee that it will last the 1 year tour that i have coming up.

The pros and cons for this sling are definitely one-sided.  The pros are that it is very durable.  It comes in 4 different colors.  Bungee is a dual core.  The Duraflex buckles are really strong and do not disconnect when hard tension is applied.  The release adapter is key when either getting in and out of vehicles or fixed fighting positions. Also this is made in the great US of A.  There are also a lot of companies out there that make numerous variations of sling mounts for your weapon.  Now for the cons or should I say con.  The only thing that I do not like about this sling is that if you walk a lot it and have wide shoulders like I do.  It starts to rub on your neck a little bit.  But if you are wearing some sort of body armor like IBA, IOTV or just a regular plate carrier.  Then you should have no problem with this.

Here is a link for you to get it.  Condor Cobra one-point sling
